PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of sufficiently accurately estimating a flow rate of a supercritical refrigerant. SOLUTION: This air conditioner operated by the supercritical refrigerant, includes an air conditioning device comprising a compressor 14, a gas cooler 11 to which the air flow is blasted from the external, an expanding means 12 and an evaporator 13. The air conditioner further comprises an electronic control device 401 cooperated with the air conditioning device for estimate the physical quantity relating to the refrigerant, in particular, the flow rate of the refrigerant on the basis of a temperature relating to the gas cooler. The electronic control device has an operating function utilizing two temperature differences.
