PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the freedom of building plan by securing a sufficient strength as a bearing wall even if an opening is formed in the wall panel. SOLUTION: Column members 2 and horizontal muntins 4 are installed in the frame body of a wall panel 1, a part surrounded by the column members 2 and the horizontal muntins 4 is formed as an opening 5. By forming the openings 5 not continuously but intermittently, the wall has a sufficient strength as a bearing wall and also a relatively large opening area to the wall. A lattice or an X-shaped reinforcing body is attached to the opening 5 to increase the strength and add a design accent, when it is required. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
