A fork positioner for a forklift truck (10) has power-actuated yokes (50,52), each having a base (50a,52a) from which a pair of transversely spaced legs (50c,50d,52c,52d) depend, for engaging respective load lifting forks (26) and adjusting their spacing transversely along a fork-supporting member (13a,13b). Each of the yokes is selectively movable between a fork-engaging position and a fork-disengaging position, the latter position permitting the fork to be lifted upwardly off of the fork-supporting member for easy replacement of the fork. <IMAGE> |
