INNER CONTAINER FOR ELECTRIC RICE COOKER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME TO UNIFORMLY KEEP INSIDE TEMPERATURE

PURPOSE: An inner container for an electric rice cooker and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the cost of materials by forming an outer layer at the bottom of an inner layer and reducing the weight of the inner container. CONSTITUTION: An inner container(60) for an electric rice cooker is composed of an inner layer member(62) made of metallic material having high heat-transfer rate, and an outer magnetic layer member(64) integrally pressed into the lower part of the inner layer member and corresponding to an electronic induction coil installed at the lower part of the electric rice cooker. The outer magnetic layer member is heated by an induced current generated by the electronic induction coil. The height of the outer layer member is between the top of the inner layer member and the mounting position of the electronic induction coil. A plurality of holes are formed at the surface of the outer layer member. The induced current generated by the electronic induction coil passes through the circumference of the holes. The inner layer member is forcibly fit into the holes when the outer layer member is pressed into the inner layer member.
