A system for compensating a voltage fluctuation in a transmission line of a power system is such that a power detection circuit detects a voltage and power flow in the transmission line involving a voltage fluctuation to be compensated, a calculation circuit calculates an impedance compensation amount for adjusting a voltage on the transmission line on the basis of the voltage and power flow detected by the detection circuit and a control circuit controls an adjusting device on the power system on the basis of the impedance compensation amount calculated by the calculation circuit. |
