<p>Method for making fibre mass and fibre mass product for e.g. furniture stuffing and mattress filling or for noise insulation based on using residual items from the production of articles like carpets and textiles. The raw materials, in the shape of the said residual products, are comminuted after preliminary sorting according to properties as e.g. density and elasticity and are mixed with homogenous additives with the intention of achieving specific properties for the end product. Dimensional stability is achieved by adding binder fibre materials binding the comminuted raw material mixtures by heating without adding chemicals. Products with a wide range of properties can be made according to the invention. Production process as well as product becomes economically and environmentally attractive.</p> |
