FIELD: medicine, in particular, cleaning and treatment equipment for personal hygiene. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has at least one cleaning or treating head including member made from porous plastic material capable of accepting desired shape upon applying of predetermined force thereto and resuming its initial shape, preferably flat, upon releasing of said member from the action of said force, and support. On bending downward, plastic member accepts the shape of support and at least partly overlaps it. Holder is engageable with plastic member and handle to provide for reliable fixing of plastic member on support. Support has built-in gripping devices, such as grooves, or gripping devices using properties of material, from which support is manufactured, for example, plastic or eleastomer. Supports may have various shapes. Apparatus may be of different sizes and, as such, may be used for different purposes (personal hygiene, medicine or veterinary science, fancywork (one scale of sizes), or for industrial or domestic purposes (other scale of sizes).
