The method involves scanning articles or objects e.g. book, carrying contactless radio frequency identification tags using a contactless reading/identification device. The tags have length and width lower than 15 millimeters and higher than 5 millimeter. The contactless tags are arranged in a parallel plane of the book e.g. at the back of covering page of the book. An Independent claim is also included for a device for implementing contact less radio frequency identification tag interrogating method.
