VOICE MAIL SERVICE METHOD IN IMT-2000 ASYNCHRONOUS NETWORK, TO REALIZING PROCEDURE FOR INFORMING USER WHETHER UNIDENTIFIED MESSAGE EXISTS IN 3G NETWORK

PURPOSE: A VMS(Voice Mail Service) method in an IMT-2000 asynchronous network is provided to realize a procedure for informing a user whether an unidentified message exists in a 3G network, by adding a map operation or simple parameters, thereby informing a mobile station of the user that a change is generated in a voice mail. CONSTITUTION: A VMS system transmits a state change message including a mail state flag to an MSC(2G)(S110). The MSC transmits a mail state notification message to an HLR(S120). The HLR changes subscriber information, and then it to the MSC(2G)(S130). The MSC(2G) transmits a response message to the state change notification to the VMS(S140). The HLR transmits a message including the corresponding information to an MSC(3G)(S150). The MSC(3G) transmits a response message to the HLR(S160). When a subscriber originates a call(S210), the MSC(3G) transmits a message(S220). The HLR transmits access information of an IP to the MSC(3G)(S230). The MSC(3G) transmits an announcement request message to the IP(S240). The IP delivers an announcement to the MSC(3G), and the MSC(3G) delivers the announcement to a mobile station(S250). The MSC(3G) transmits an announcement end message(S260). The HLR transmits a call continuous message to the MSC(3G)(S270).
