PURPOSE: A power supply apparatus is provided to achieve improved energy use efficiency by arranging a solar heat collector plate on the top of an outdoor unit in such a manner that the solar heat collector plate has a tilt angle which varies in accordance with the altitude of the sun. CONSTITUTION: A power supply apparatus(60) comprises an outdoor unit body(50) which accommodates a compressor, a blower, and a heat exchanger, and condenses the refrigerant heat exchanged with the indoor area; a top case(62) formed on the top of the outdoor unit body, and which has a driving motor embedded therein; and a plurality of solar heat collector plates(64) arranged on one side of the top case such that the collector plates are rotatable. The solar heat collector plates has a connector(64a) connected to the plates such that the connector is foldable. The solar heat collector plates convert solar energies into electrical energies, and supply power to the outdoor unit body. |
