RECORDING MEDIUM WITH CAP, LIGHT SHIELDING CAP, HOLOGRAM RECORDING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING LIGHT SHIELDING CAP TO RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium with cap which is inexpensive and has excellent repeated adhesion performance, abrasion resistance and light shielding property, and to provide a hologram recording device using the recording medium with cap.

SOLUTION: The recording medium with cap is composed of the recording medium 2 of flat plate shape provided with a photosensitive layer 9 having photorefractive material and a light shielding cap 1 which has a flat boxy shape for shielding the light made incident to the photosensitive layer 9, is tightly bonded to the surface of the recording medium 2 with an electrostatic attraction force and has flexibility. The recording medium 2 is constituted in such a manner that a transparent electrode layer 5 is disposed on an intermediate layer 8 made of a quartz substrate and the photosensitive layer 9 is disposed on the transparent electrode layer 5. A reflective layer 7 is disposed under the intermediate layer 8. The light shielding cap 1 is provided with a frame part 1p covering a side surface of the recording medium 2. The frame part 1p on the periphery of the light shielding cap 1 blocks diffraction of light from the surroundings of the recording medium 2.
