<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a smooth conversion processing without moving visual lines from an input position and a noticing clause on an input picture in a kana(Japanese syllabary)-kanji(Chinese character) converter. <P>SOLUTION: In the kana-kanji converter, a kana-kanji conversion processing part KCM performs kana-kanji conversion to a KANA character string to be inputted in a conversion window set by a conversion window setting part WCS from an input part IPB by referring to a dictionary stored in a hard disk 84. When a prescribed operation is performed from the input part IPB before or in process of an operation of the kana-kanji conversion, a menu according to an operation state among menus set and stored by a conversion window menu management part MCC is preliminarily displayed in the vicinity of the conversion window as a menu for performing list display of instructions regarding a conversion operation corresponding to the operation state of the kana-kanji conversion. Since an operator should just select a desired instruction from the menu to be displayed in the vicinity of the conversion window, a conversion operation is smoothly performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
