<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a theft prevention device of a small planing boat capable of preventing an engine from being started without a key when an operator leaves the boat with a main switch turned ON even if the operator does not consciously perform a special operation. <P>SOLUTION: In this theft prevention device of the small planing boat having the main switch 32, an ECU 50 detects the stoppage of the engine based on the detection signals of an engine speed sensor 41 and/or the energization of a kill switch 35, detects that the main switch 32 is turned ON by the energization of the ECU 50, and when both states wherein the engine is stopped and the main switch 32 is turned ON are detected, for example, the supply of power from a battery B is shut down to fail to start the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
