PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated building wherein a member for covering a section between an upper structure and a lower structure is mounted in the state of not being exposed nor greatly protruded in an outside direction. SOLUTION: This base-isolated building H is constituted by installing the upper structure 4 on the lower structure 2, which is fixed on the ground, via a base-isolating device. A rising member A is provided in a lower position corresponding to an outer peripheral part of the lower structure. A plate body member 7, which is almost horizontally protruded in an inward direction below the upper structure 4, is provided at the upper end of the rising member A.
