PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch container which can be surely broken by an approximately straight line when it is opened without bringing about decrease in original performance of the container. SOLUTION: The pouch container is composed of a container main body 10 formed into a flat bag-like shape with a flexible sheet 11 and a pair of tear tapes 20 heat-sealed on the inner face side of this container main body 10, and the container main body 10 in which a content is hermetically packaged is cut together with the tear tapes 20 to open the container. The tape 20 is composed of a base material layer having tearing properties in the longitudinal direction, and sealant layers laminated respectively on both surface and back surface of this base material layer, and both side edges in the width direction is heat-sealed on inner face sides of the flexible sheets 11 and 11 in such a way that they pinch a part to be broken of the container main body 10, namely, a breaking line connecting together notches 10a to be a start when it is broken.
