PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always fix a position of an ultrasonic transducer when an insertion member of an ultrasonic diagnostic equipment is in a straight situation or a curved situation. SOLUTION: The somascope is equipped with a lock ring 35 which restrains a rotation supporting table 22 connected to a flexible shaft 23 from moving to a proximal end side of an ultrasonic wave insertion member 11, wherein a rotary cylinder 26 is fixed to a supporting cylinder 27 to restrain the rotary cylinder 26 attached to the flexible shaft 23 from moving to a distal end side of the ultrasonic wave insertion member 11 and distance between the supporting cylinder 27 and the lock ring 35 is made longer than a natural length of the flexible shaft 23. A cable 24 which is inserted in the flexible shaft 23 is made to have an extra length and equipped with an elastic member 24a which is urged in a direction to be pulled to the side of a rotary electrode 28.
