PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding tool capable of improving cutting ability and discharging ability of chips to prevent the occurrence of clogging and capable of suppressing the occurrence of grinding burn by improving heat radiation during the grinding. SOLUTION: The grinding tool 1 has abrasive grain layers 3 formed respectively on a front outer periphery 2a, a side circumferential part 2b and a back 2c of a cylindrical back metal 2. The abrasive grain layer 3 is formed of an aggregate of abrasive grains including a plurality of abrasive grains. The grains forming the aggregate in the layer 3 are held on the back metal by a bonding material mainly containing a nickel-based alloy. The aggregates are linearly arranged with an inclination within a range of 30-70°with respect to the rotation direction during the grinding.
