PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit quality-determining device that can exactly determine the quality of fruits A through the determining work of efficiency increased by easily carrying out the quality determination work without breakage of a plurality of fruits A, for example, chest nuts in a short time. SOLUTION: This device comprises plural lines of conveying members 2 for fruits A and a single optical detector 13 for determining the quality of fruits A that are arranged in plural lines. In addition, the fruits A can also be inspected from both of the front and the rear sides by turning the fruits A each by 180°for inspection with the single optical detector 13.
