摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover heat from reformed gas and transformed gas in a hydrogen generating apparatus equipped with a reformer and a CO transformer, to suppress the size of the apparatus and the cost of hydrogen generation, to keep controlling property, and to markedly improve the efficiency of hydrogen generation. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydrogen generating apparatus equipped with a steam reformer of hydrocarbons by reforming pure water and with a CO tansformer, a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger are disposed in the passage between the steam modifier and the CO transformer and in the guide pipe of the transformed gas from the CO transformer, respectively. The passage for the reforming pure water is branched into three passages of a first branch pipe, a second branch pipe and a third branch pipe. The reforming pure water from the first branch pipe is mixed with the hydrocarbon to be supplied to the steam reformer. The reforming pure water in the second and third branch pipes is supplied to the first and second heat exchangers, respectively, vaporized by recovering the heat from the reformed gas and the transformed gas, and then mixed with the hydrocarbon to be supplied to the steam reformer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
