<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that ensures an ideal, sufficient gap for a transfer paper conveyance guide plate by shifting the conveyance guide plate in a conveyance direction or a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction only when load greater than a fixed amount is applied thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device C includes: a pair of rollers 2 which heats and fixes toner transferred to the surface of transfer paper P; and the conveyance guide members 5, 7, and 8 which convey and eject the transfer paper P to the pair of rollers 2. In the fixing device C, during the conveyance of the transfer paper, load equal to or greater than the fixed amount allows the conveyance guide members 5, 7, and 8 to be shifted in the direction perpendicular to the transfer paper conveyance direction and in the same direction as the transfer paper conveyance direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
