PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blowing device capable of exhibiting a cooling efficiency or a drying efficiency to the maximum. SOLUTION: A pressing roller 30 contacting with a conveying web 12 is arranged on a cooling device 23 and is arranged such that a lap angle with the web 12 becomes 2°or smaller. Rattling of the web 12 can be inhibited by contacting such the pressing roller 30 with the web 12. Therefore, the web 12 cannot be rattled even if a large amount of cooling air is made to collide against the web 12 at a high speed while maintaining a nozzle blowing speed. Accordingly, blowing ports 40, 41 of nozzles 38, 39 respectively arranged on a front side and a back surface side of the conveyed web 12 can be made to approach the web 12 as much as possible and cooling of the web 12 can be carried out at high speed and highly efficiently.
