PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consequently reduce the exhaust amount of CO<SB>2</SB>considered as the cause of global warming by improving the energy utilizing efficiency of a humidifying device. SOLUTION: Water is supplied directly to combustion gas of fuel gas to be evaporated and resulting gas is utilized for humidification. A relationship between the concentration of CO<SB>2</SB>and a relative humidity in a room is previously investigated and the amount of the combustion gas is controlled by a humidity measurement controller to control the concentration of CO<SB>2</SB>in the living room within an allowable limit.
