<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with high convenience capable of performing variable power of scale ratio designation with high operability. <P>SOLUTION: A required variable power ratio being a variable power ratio by which picture information after variable power processing becomes a desired scale ratio is calculated from a document scale ratio being the scale ratio of the picture information formed on a source document inputted by a prescribed operation and the desired scale ratio inputted by a prescribed operation, and picture information obtained by applying variable power processing to the picture information obtained by reading the source document with the calculated required variable power ratio is formed on copying paper and outputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
