<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device for allowing a user to smoothly move a cursor by moving his or her lips while blowing exhalation to a microphone array arranged on a device substrate, or moving his or her face without mounting a special device on his or her oral cavity or lips. <P>SOLUTION: When this pointing device 1 is connected to the predetermined input port of a personal computer 3 so as to be used as an input device, a user blows exhalation to a microphone array 121 of a substrate 11 in a direction where the user wants to move a mouse cursor to move the mouse cursor 100 to the exhalation moving direction, and makes a voiceless sound such as his or her tongue clicking sound so as to input a mouse button switch signal.
