FIBER ROD AND LIGHT IRRADIATION DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber rod which conducts light from two or more point sources with a low-decay rate and can make irradiation light uniform, and a light irradiation device using the above fiber rod.

SOLUTION: A dental light irradiation device 100 performs image formation of light from two or more light emitting diodes on a plane of incidence 20A of a light guide 20 through a first lens 111, a second lens 12 and a third lens 13. The image is defocused by a first rod 21 and conducted to a second rod 22. Thereby, irradiated light from a reflection plane 20B becomes uniform light without being divided to be two or more spots of light.
