PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitting system which transmits image data of a plurality of pages according to the intention of a user, and simplifies operations for transmitting the image data of the plurality of pages as individual files to the same destination. SOLUTION: In a digital composite machine in transmitting the inputted image data of a plurality of pages (a plurality of originals read by a scanner 104 or a document of a plurality of pages stored in a memory 109), when a full dividing transmission is designated, the inputted image data of the plurality of pages are divided per one page, and each of the divided image data is transmitted as an individual file each defined by a predetermined format.
