PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting-type composition containing a (co)polymer which has a double bond in the side chain, exerts less oxygen inhibition and easily thermosets, the composition being applicable to various fields such as a coating agent, e.g. paint, a molding material, an adhesive and ink. SOLUTION: The thermosetting composition comprises a polymer (C) containing an alicyclic group having an endocyclic olefin in the side chain and having mass-average molecular weight of 500-40,000, a polythiol compound (E) and a thermal polymerization initiator (G). The polymer (C) is obtained from one containing a compound (A) having an alicyclic group (A1) with an endocyclic olefin and a radically polymerizable group (A2), and a thermal polymerization initiator (D), optionally containing a compound (B) having at least a radically polymerizable group in the molecule. The thermosetting composition is found out to excel in curability because it hardly suffers inhibition of radical polymerization by oxygen, and to provide high productivity.
