COLLISION PREVENTING CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision preventing controller preventing collision with an obstacle by prohibiting or limiting starting or acceleration of one's vehicle when a driver erroneously operates an accelerator even though the obstacle is in a near distance to one's vehicle.

SOLUTION: A distance between one's vehicle and the obstacle is measured, and if the distance to the obstacle is a predetermined distance or less when one's vehicle is not moving or traveling at a low speed, it is limited so that starting or acceleration is impossible, or acceleration is predetermined acceleration or less.
