<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor unit causing no reduction in efficiency while reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: This compressor unit has a housing 6, a shaft 14 for rotating relative to the housing 6, and driving a piston 21, and a pair of radial bearings 15A and 15B for rotatably supporting the shaft 14 to the housing 6. Since one 15A of the pair of radial bearings is an angular ball bearing, such an angular ball bearing 15A can share a radial directional force and an axial directional force, so that a thrust bearing conventionally arranged in pairs with the radial bearing can be eliminated to contribute to cost reduction. Since rotational resistance in operation is reduced as compared with a case of using a sliding bearing, energy can be saved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
