PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous sheet uniformly having fine holes in a high density. SOLUTION: The porous sheet has holes having≤35,000μm<SP>2</SP>size formed by cross-over points in which fibers having tissue structures or knit structures are melted and the sheet has≤200μm diameter of circles having average area per hole. The method for producing the porous sheet comprises melting fibers at cross-over points of weave structures or knit structures and forming holes having≤35,000μm<SP>2</SP>size or melting fibers at cross-over points of weave structures or knit structures and forming holes having≤200μm diameter of circles having average area per hole.
