<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current control circuit that can reliably prevent a flow of excessive current at load activation. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage detector 4 detects the voltage across a capacitive load 1 and inputs the detected voltage Vi2 into a control circuit 5 comprising a differential amplification circuit. A voltage command Vi1 from a control signal source 6 is also input into the control circuit 5. The difference between the two inputs to the control circuit 5 is output to the gate of a MOSFET 3. The impedance of the MOSFET 3 is thus controlled to bring the detected voltage Vi2 across the capacitive load 1 nearer to the command Vi1 specified by the control signal source 6.
