<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollution component eliminating agent effective for efficiently decomposing various polluting elements and having good usability. <P>SOLUTION: A composition containing an extract obtained by extracting a sedimentary rock soil containing basalt and/or andesite with an acid as an active component is used as the polluting component eliminating agent.
