PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing water from synthetic resin chips which realizes an improved water removal efficiency in the removal of water from a mixture of synthetic resin chips with water. SOLUTION: The apparatus for removing water from the synthetic chips comprises a centrifugal water remover 1 with an inside perforated rotary cylinder 11 and a cyclone 2 attached thereto through a conveying duct 4 and is characterized in that many through-holes 41 and 21 are made in the conveying duct 4 and/or the cyclone 2.
