<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable smooth automatic start by preventing shock by reducing clutch connecting speed when a clutch is automatically connected. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic clutch controller for a vehicle comprises a clutch booster 20 for generating a driving force for disconnecting or connecting the clutch, a selector valve means 22 for switching between supply and exhaustion of air for driving the clutch booster, and a clutch stroke sensor 21 for detecting stroke of an output shaft 27 for disconnecting or connecting the clutch with the driving of the clutch booster. The controller automatically starts the vehicle by automatically disconnecting or connecting the clutch in starting the vehicle. An orifice 34 for throttling flow rate of air is disposed on an exhaust conduit 32 of the air from the clutch booster 20 when the clutch is connected. The flow rate of the air exhausted from the clutch booster 20 is throttled by the orifice 34, and the transfer speed from the clutch disconnection state to the connection state is suppressed low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
