PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color selection electrode structure at low cost by thinning and reducing weight of a frame of the color selection electrode structure for a color cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: In manufacturing the color selection electrode structure for the color cathode-ray tube comprising a metal thin plate of a rectangular shape with an electron beam passing hole formed and a frame 1 consisting of two supporting parts 1a supporting a top end part and a bottom end part each of the metal thin plate and two elastic parts 1b giving the two supporting parts force for getting away from each other, the frame is formed by folding two same bar members alike for a plurality of times and firmly fixing both ends of the two bar members folded with each other.
