PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein conventional reference voltage generation circuits require much time until a reference voltage becomes stable so that the circuit sometimes fails to satisfy the recovery time required from a system, and that especially a circuit having a large stabilizing capacity requires quite much recovery time. SOLUTION: The reference voltage generating circuit of the present invention has the function of rapidly charging a reference voltage stabilizing capacity when shifted from the standby state to the normal operation state, and automatically stopping the charging operation when the voltage reaches a stable voltage point. The reference voltage generating circuit also has the function of precharging an output terminal of the reference voltage generating circuit to a voltage near the stable voltage due to the partial pressure effect of the capacity when shifted from the standby state to the normal operation state. Due to this, the increase in time required until the reference voltage becomes stable is prevented when the reference voltage generating circuit including an analogue circuit is shifted from OFF state to ON state.
