PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pressure adjusting device for reducing the generation of noise. SOLUTION: The generation of vapor by a contraction flow of fuel on the downstream side of a valve seat port 40 is restrained by diffusing the fuel toward the outside from the inside of the valve seat port 40 when a valve element 32 separates from a valve seat 34 by arranging the valve element 32 for blocking up the valve seat port 40 on the downstream side of the valve seat 34. The device can be miniaturized by adopting a plate-like plate spring 28 as a means for energizing the valve element 32 in the direction for seating on the valve seat 34. The plate spring 28 is constituted so that the free end abutting on the valve element 32 maintains an attitude near vertical to the plate thickness directional axis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
