FLUORINE-TREATED POWDER AND EXTERNAL PREPARATION FOR SKIN CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cosmetic powder having excellent ultraviolet-protection effect and inflammation suppressing effect at high irradiation dose and provide an external preparation for skin such as cosmetics containing the powder. SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin such as cosmetics contains fluorine-treated powder composed of titanium oxide treated with hydrated aluminum oxide-silicic acid and having fluorinated alkyl group introduced to the surface, preferably fluorine-treated powder produced by treating the titanium oxide treated with hydrated aluminum oxide-silicic acid with a 9-15C fluoroalcohol phosphate. The titanium oxide treated with hydrated aluminum oxide-silicic acid is produced by coating the surface of titanium dioxide with silicic acid and alumina. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
