摘要 |
A quantum device includes a resonator and a tuning structure. The tuning structure is made a material such as a chalcogenide and is positioned to interact with the electromagnetic radiation in the resonator so that a resonant mode of the first resonator depends on a characteristic of the tuning structure. The resonator is optically coupled so that a transition between quantum states associated with a defect produces electromagnetic radiation in the resonator. The characteristic of the tuning structure is adjustable after fabrication of the resonator and the tuning structure. |

1. A quantum optical device comprising:
a first resonator; a defect structure containing a first defect, wherein a transition between quantum states associated with the first defect produces electromagnetic radiation in the first resonator; a first tuning structure positioned to interact with the electromagnetic radiation in a resonant mode of the first resonator so that a frequency of the resonant mode of the first resonator depends on a characteristic of the first tuning structure, wherein the characteristic of the first tuning structure is adjustable after fabrication of the first resonator; a second resonator optically coupled to a second defect so that a transition between quantum states associated with the second defect produces electromagnetic radiation in the second resonator; and a second tuning structure positioned to interact with the electromagnetic radiation in the second resonator so that a resonant mode of the second resonator depends on a characteristic of the second tuning structure, wherein the characteristic of the second tuning structure is adjustable independently of the characteristic of the first tuning structure. |
