发明名称 METHOD FOR ROLLING STEEL MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance and seizing resistance of roll for rolling steel material. CONSTITUTION:The composition of a oxidized film on the surfaces of a rolled stock and roll in rolling is controlled. That is, the oxidized film of the rolled stock is preliminarily made in basicity of >=1 and the oxidized film of the roll is made in basicity of <=1. In such a way, iron ion and oxygen ion are moved from the former to the latter in the high temp. part of friction surfaces in rolling, so the oxidized film on the roll surface is made thicker and stabilized. The direct contact of the fresh surface of the rolled stock with the base material of roll is prevented with the oxidized film of roll and temp. increase of roll surface is reduced by allowing to oxidized film to serve as a thermal insulation, so it is extremely effective to the prevention of wear and seizing of roll.
