PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive film having high gas barrier properties which has transparency and easy disposal properties and also has gas cutting-off properties corresponding to those of a metal foil. SOLUTION: A vapor deposition thin film layer (layer A) 3 with a thickness of 5-100 nm, an intermediate coating film layer (layer B) 4 formed by drying a layer comprising a coating agent under heating, a vapor deposition thin film layer (layer c) 5 with a thickness of 5-300 nm and a coating film layer (layer D) 6 comprising the same component as the layer B 4 are successively laminated on at least one side of a base material 2 comprising a plastic material to obtain a laminate 1. The coating agent is based on an aqueous solution containing a water soluble polymer and at least either one of at least one kind of an alkoxide and/or its hydrolysate (a) and tin chloride (b) or a water/alcohol mixed solution and a pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to at least one side of the laminate 1, or paper, a film or the like coated with the pressure-sensitive adhesive is laminated 7 on at least one side of the laminate 1.
