PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the uniformity of spouting amount from each spouting hole and to improve the balance of fluidity in a mold (the balance of flowing speed at a meniscus), in the case of setting a sliding gate at the upstream side of a circling flow nozzle having plurality of spouting holes. SOLUTION: A continuous casting method, the immersion nozzle in which a twisted plate type circulating blade is incorporated and which has a plurality of spouting holes is arranged on the downstream side of the sliding gate being a flowing amount adjusting mechanism for molten steel arranged in the bottom part of a tundish for continuous casting, and the ridge line direction at the upper end of this twisted plate type circulating blade is set at the angle of 5-15°in the reverse direction to the twisted circulating direction of the blade, with respect to the sliding direction of the sliding gate.
