<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of accurately displaying a printed result actually outputted from the image forming apparatus as display of preview and an image forming system. <P>SOLUTION: Original image data stored in a page memory is converted to print data in a data format for printing output by a print engine controller (S6). When the print data is stored in a bitmap memory section (S9), the controller reads the print data stored in the bitmap memory section to display on a display section (S13-S15). The displaying based on the print data obtained by converting the image data to the data for printing output by the print engine controller is performed on the display section so that the printed result to be actually outputted is accurately displayed on the display section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
