PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license management device which manages the license of software by authenticating a computer and which can easily cope with the difference between the respective specifications of the computer, and to provide the computer and a program. SOLUTION: A storage means is divided into a plurality of areas to store operation-related information in the respective divided areas. An operation-related information transmission means transmits only operation-related information stored in a previously set area among the respective areas in response to inquiries from the software.
