SOLUTION: In the flow cell for measuring surface plasmon resonance for supplying a sample liquid onto a metal substrate, an area in the flow cell is 20 mm<SP>2</SP>or larger and 400 mm<SP>2</SP>or smaller, and ratio (Ls/L<SB>L</SB>) of length (L<SB>L</SB>) in a segment, where a straight line for connecting the inlet and outlet of samples in the flow cell is cut by the flow cell, to length (Ls) in a segment, where the normal bisector of the segment is cut by the flow cell, is less than 1.00.
