PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inertial force switch easy to be manufactured, inexpensive, small in size and high in reliability. SOLUTION: This switch includes an insulating case 1; a conductive plate spring 4 of which the one end is fixed in the form of a cantilever to the case 1; a contact electrode part 6 disposed at the position, opposite to the other end to which the spring 4 is not fixed, on a bottom surface in the case 1; a terminal part 5a for external connection conducting to the one end of the spring 4 fixed in the form of the cantilever; a terminal part 6a for external connection conducting to the electrode part 6 disposed at the position opposite to the other end to which the spring 4 is not fixed; an inertial body 3 movably disposed in an almost vertical direction to the spring 4 by receiving the inertial force; and an inertial body guide member 2 provided with a recessed part 2a for positioning the inertial body 3 and guiding it in the movable direction. The inertial body 3 performs a switching operation by pushing down the spring 4 to contact it with the electrode part 6 while the inertial body 3 is guided by the recessed part 2a through an inertial action.
