<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load/eject mechanism for recording media, which can enhance the operability for user by enabling the user to load/eject recording media to/from a data processing apparatus without removing a recording medium adaptor and also to eject selectively either the recording media or the recording medium adaptor. <P>SOLUTION: The load/eject mechanism ejects a recording medium 15 by using a first transfer roller 78 and a first driven roller 85 when the recording medium 15 is ejected from a recording medium adaptor 16, wherein the first transfer roller 78, which is driven by a motor 21 rotating clockwise, rotates around 90 degrees counterclockwise and a circular arc part touches on the recording medium 15. The load/eject mechanism ejects the recording medium adaptor 16 by using a second transfer roller 80 and a second driven roller 88 when the the recording medium adaptor 16 is ejected from a socket 41, wherein the second transfer roller 80, which is driven by reverse rotation of the motor 21, rotates around 180 degrees counterclockwise and the part of the circular arc touches on the recording medium 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
