PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller with which an image of high sharpness without fogging can be obtained even when the developing roller is placed under any kinds of environments even when used for development by an image forming apparatus, such as a copying machine or printer of an electrophotographic system. SOLUTION: The developing roller is used for a development apparatus of the electrophotographic system and contains an polyamide resin having the diamine compound expressed by formula as a component in an outermost layer. In the formula, A and B independently represent cycloalkylene rings which can have substituents, and R represdnts alkylene which is directly bonded or can have a substituent.
