PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning device for preventing deterioration of image face curvature, without enlarging the opening angle of an optical flux incident on a polarizing means, even if the coupling les coupling the optical flux emitted from a light source by accompanying the small diameter of a beam spot diameter becomes enlarged, and to provide an image-forming device. SOLUTION: The optical scanning device has a plurality of light sources for radiating the optical flux, a first optical system for coupling the optical flux from the plurality of light sources, a second optical system for condensing the optical flux from the first optical system, in the form of a substantially long line in the corresponding direction of main scanning, an optical deflector for deflecting the optical flux from a polarizing reflection face arranged in the neighborhood of a substantially linear condensing part, and a third optical system for condensing a plurality of deflected optical fluxes from the optical deflector as a plurality of light spots. The optical flux is emitted from at least the two light sources of the plurality of the light sources, passes through the first optical system, then an emission direction of the optical flux toward the optical deflector displays an opening angle in at least a scanning direction; and the second optical system has at least one negative power in the scanning direction.
