PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage from occurring at one end part of a gusset material in a plastic bag having the side gusset material 1 by appropriately heat-sealing the one end of the gusset material. SOLUTION: An end part of the side gusset material is slantly folded while two-folded. Thus a folding flap 14 of the side gusset material is formed. A barrel material 2 on one of layers and the folding flap are heat-sealed with each other, the folding flap and the side gusset material are heat-sealed with each other in a region including at least an open hypotenuse 16 of the folding flap, and therefore one of the barrel materials and the side gusset material are heat-sealed with each other in the same region.
